Hello Fellow Prospectors!
What a meeting this week, and past few months. the weather has been hot so be carefull out their. Please let someone know where you are at and what time you are expected to return. Bring plenty of water and food. Hopefully next month we can get togther as a group and find some of that yellow stuff.
As a group we added 12 new claims WOW what alot of work. Now it is time to go out and find that gold. we also that time of month voted on keeping claims or giving them back. we was sitting on 20 claims and as a group we voted to give back 4 claims, but we are still ahead of the ball game to where we was< so now we are at 16 claims. The group keeps growing and the fellowship between prospectors is amazing. this wouldn't be happening without all of your support.
The next few months as it gets cooler outside we will still have more activitys planed. I am looking fowared to the metal dectecing outing with the added panning contest, and the group outings. Just remember to hold on to your orange tickets for the lossing ticket draw in December.

Hello Fellow Prospectors!
Been just wounderfull so far and much has been done all parts of the family of prospectors. I might be just getting used to everyone just not so great with names haha.
This weather has been crazy with the rain and all. but it seems to be getting to turn on our side so we can get back out their to dry wash. Just a reminder it is getting to those temps where those snakes like to come out and might have a little snack.
Coming up will be the metal detecting outing on April 4th with gold panning contest on top of yet. So theirs a chance to win some gold nuggets.
MPA paperwork for the claim is coming along should be done in the next few weeks.
MPA President.

Hello Fellow Prospectors!
Well the weather is finally getting warmer out, and its drying up. Last month I had the joy of going to the Quarzsite Gold Show and representing MPA. Thanks again to Rob with 49er minning supplies for letting us high jack his booth. We both passed out over 200 flyers talked to over 500 people the 3 days that it went on. Alot of good miners and prospectors that came threw loved meeting them all.
Good news is that MPA as a group is expanding as we all know that so do we need more land to prospect on. We as a group voted to add another 240 acres of land to prospect on how exciting. I am very energized to get out their and do some digging.
Next month is going to be a busy one with showing the AGFD how to pan for gold and dry wash. lookinng fowared to meeting all of the officers. We got the metal detecting contest coming up that is always a geat time.

Hello fellow MPA members!
I wanted to start out by saying what a great meeting we had in January to start the new year! We had many renewing members and 10 new sign ups just at the meeting! That is great to see! I hope that trend continues throughout the year!
We’ve survived the first snowstorm of this year as well! This was the 2nd significant snowfall since I moved here in 2016 and the kids loved the reminder of home, even though it only lasted 2 days!
In case you haven’t read the January edition of the newsletter, the plan going forward for the year, is to always have our outings planned for the Saturday after the monthly meeting. We will decide on location at the meetings the month prior, so always pay attention to the newsletter and calendar on the website! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!
We are working on some new things as well. Including training for our members. We are hoping for once a month, getting together to do training on dry washing, panning, metal detecting and be available to answer/help our members with their equipment. More plans/information to come on that.
We are also planning on some overnight camping outings for late spring, so stay tuned for more details!
Let’s get out there and find some gold!

Hello All MPA Members!
I’ll start off by saying Happy Holidays to you all! I wanted to thank you all for voting me in as President for this next year! I am honored to represent you all and will do everything I can to make this a great year for us all!
Now that the crazy year of 2020 is almost behind us, let’s look forward to a new year, a new start for us all! No matter what your resolution is (if you still make them), I say that we all just try to be better people! I feel as a society, we all owe it to each other to always be humble and kind! Be there to support each other and bring each other up and help each other if we are able to! We all need to come together to overcome all the obstacles we face individually, in families, at work, in this club and in communities!
As president, I will try to always be there to help any club members that I can along the way, so please reach out if needed!
This year, I plan on having many outings/events for our members. This will get us out doing what we all signed up for and let us get to know each other a little better too! For any of you that don’t know me, I’ll tell you a little about myself. My husband is Eric Spurr and we have two children, Abigail (Abby) and Parker. We moved to Kingman in August of 2016 from Minnesota after having been down to the area many times on vacations prior to making the decision to move. Eric and I were both fortunate enough to keep our jobs we had in MN, so we both get to work from home. Joining this club originally was a way for us to get out of the house and get to know other people in the community. I have met so many wonderful people who are members of this club and look forward to getting to know more of you throughout this year!
Let’s make this a great year out prospecting and find that gold!
